What's the longest you've put up with a piece of failing or broken technology for?

had a computer where the letters d and k didn't work after I split water on the keyboard and I had it for 2 years
I also had a phone with a cracked screen for 6 months
 
Well my wife has had to put up with this broken tech for over 30+ years :)

I generally only replace stuff as a last resort, often resorting to other means to achieve something.
2 of the 3 monitors I use are very light/high contrast, have been for years (since before covid etc.)
I have had a replacement sat on the floor for 6 months but can't be bothered to clear up & move around.
 
We've had a chip in the glass turntable of the microwave for about 4 years. Doesn't seem to effect the heating of my baked beans so all good here.
 
The display on my microwave hasn’t worked for over 10 years. Luckily I had gained the muscle-memory needed to set the power level and cooking time before it died, so now I can do it automatically.
