How much money is there inside the M25

Might come down and make a killing, charge for traveling to and from a job is unheard of up here. Goodness if I charged for per mile I'd be branded a cowboy! £80 a landlord. Be lucky to get half that up in Liverpool. Boiler swaps are £1400.00 with a vaillant 831

Heard there is a killing To be had down south?

Looks like you'd be in competition with pimlico they only fit ideal boilers aswell :)

If you go down there for a month, with work booked in, and stay in your van, oh and manage not to get stabbed or shot off some little gangster wannabe goon, you'll make more than you would for the same work at home

Thing is they do earn more, but they also have flats worth £400,000 and mortgages to go with, so they don't get rich, we could though, maybe

It costs £50 to park the Van for the day if you can find somewhere that'll take it.

Was down bath the other day, what a dump! So I'll charge £1850 for a straight swap then still cheaper than these rip off London plumbers, £400 to change a ball cock

£400. For a ball cock
What part London was that in?
I work quite a lot in London never been able to charge that
Might have to branch out abit

If you consider the road network I'd agree 110%.

You should try Bristol first. They have special lanes for more than one occupant in the car, the trade reps were all driving around with blow up doll in the passenger seat.

The stresses and strains of working in the capital - let alone living there make the money barely worth it. I travel 40 odd miles in everyday because the cost of living was just plain stupid.

Some great people to work for yes, but also some complete an utter a7seholes. Thankfully I seem to be lucky and only get a few each year - and they make me very glad to have a book full of regulars.

Working on a job with a roofing firm from Nottingham soon - poor feckers had no idea about the congestion zone, and even worse the LEZ - nearly got them a cropper as they were planning to come down daily for the first few days in their old war horse. Instead it was cheaper to bring two smaller vehicles.

33 or so different sets of parking regulations to contend with depending on what borough you are working in... and in the case of Camden and Islington for example, that can mean the difference of which side of the road you happen to have found a space.

Park on one side and the customer's visitors permits are not valid. I have 3 or maybe 4 different apps on my phone to pay for the pay and displays. TLF charge you £9 to change the registration of a vehicle for the automatic CC payment scheme - that has had naff all effect on congestion.

Got 3 points the other day for tapping my mobile phone. The policewoman that collared me was walking down the pavement faster than I was driving at the time.

Streets paved with dog sh1t more like - still not as bad a Paris I suppose. But Tokyo puts London to shame.

Luckily where you live in Manchester there is hardly any gun or gang related crime. I hear it's the most desirable place to live in the UK

Haha. Av worked all over and tbh Liverpool is the worst then anywhere for gang gun culture

It's funny you should say that because it's not, not even close , it's one of the better big cities in the U.K. , now

And as for comparing Manchester with London  , do me a favour, you ate more likey to be mugged in London than New York , awful place

Can't you tell I've been watching my crime statistics programmes :P
