I have an old hut, built from sawn timber as it appears cut from straight from tree trunk with bark still on the visible edge. It's mostly perfectly solid, but a couple of the strips of timber on one of the walls has become 'fragile' and I need to replace them.
What would these type of sawn from the tree planks be called and where would be a good place to ask for them please?
