Hi folks,

This Silivent item is on our bathroom wall to the left of the door. It does not appear to do anything?
Anyone know what it is and is meant to do?
We have the extractor fan in the picture in the shower cubical ceiling in the bathroom.

Possibly a vent for radon gas. In areas of the UK where the radon gas levels are high fitting a vent of this type is a sensible idea.

its the transformer for the fan.

Ah ok, so it’s linked to the fan on the ceiling of the shower cubicle?
