Hi there....from a girl who knows nothing about boilers but found you all very helpful last time....

Our 10 year old Baxi back boiler [an Inset 2 I think] has started 'wheezing'. It's a slightly squeaky, pulsating wheeze [actually not unlike a heartbeat]. The wheeze isn't constant - it only happens when the boiler is actually heating up the central heating. And whilst it is fairly rhythmic there are times when it speeds up [like a heartbeat when you go running or something]. We think it is coming from the boiler, but you can hear the noise through all the radiators [enough to wake us up every morning].

It is still working fine apart from this - we have hot water and the rads heat up.

The boiler works with an unvented Megaflow.

Any suggestions?
Thanks, Sue
