When 'are' we going to get tough on crime?

Your stupid :ROFLMAO: You are always banging about the same rubbish that and making up stories about what some one supposedly said that and yer porkie pies

Pull yer ead out yer wat sit

In Dagenham pensioner killed via a deliberate attack of arson perp got 6 years (?) post a tweet and get 4 years

Mind you the Dagenham bloke was not white

Yes exactly
You seriously can't follow any conversation can you?

Here you go @blup and others with similarly pathetic views when it comes to sentencing. I'm sure these pieces of scum will assert they didn't mean to kill the little boy, unintentional they'll say. Given you think 6 years in prison is an extremely long time, how long should this lot be banged up for? 5? 4? Less?

If you read too many of these stories you'll never sleep well.

Define scum in a way in an objective way that sentencing courts can use it

Right now we lock people up for longer than we have in the past. It doesn't help prevent reoffending and there's no evidence it discourages offending in the first place
But it makes people feel good to punish wrongdoers
