When to seed the lawn

Hi, there are areas in my lawn which I need to reseed and I'm just wondering if Feb/March time is an OK time to be doing this.

Also, any tips for this activity in terms of prep and selection of seed.

dependent on the weather really. no problem with march. The majority will simply sit there and wait in the soil till its ready if the conditions arent right. Personally i always prefer turf, much better result
