Hey all,

I have tiled flooring in my kitchen area, and laminate flooring in my dining room. There's no door between these areas - simply a 4ft long threshold which separates the two, and is secured with five fasteners/clips.

This was fitted around 8 years ago when we had the kitchen extended. Unfortunately, while recently moving some heavy furniture between the rooms, the threshold was snagged and two of the clips holding it down have broken.

I need some replacement clips as the threshold is now loose and doesn't lay totally flat, but couldn't see any in Wickes/HomeBase/B&Q, etc. I've also looked online, on eBay, etc. but can't see them. The clips look like this:

The small rounded surface slides into the underside of the threshold, and the wider square surface clips into a metal rail that's secure to the floor.

Any ideas where I can get these clips/fasteners/fixings/whatever they're called?

I know the thresholds themselves aren't that expensive, but I thought if I could get the clips it'd be much cheaper :)

Thanks for any pointers!

Seen them a few times. They come with the door trim. So think you will need to buy a new trim. Go on treat yourself 😀

Thanks for the reply!
