where is wood that is 1 7/8" thick to repair external d

If I'm right, external doors are (were) typically 1 7/8 inches thick, 47.62mm I think.

I can only find 44mm wood from sheds, any idea where I can get 1 7/8 thick wood to make a repair?

any ideas? thanks.
 
Apart fro the obvious plane a bit, but I guess you don't have the tools, try a local timber suppliers.

I needed some oak strip wood, I used Alsford timber they have lots of branches and they ran it through the planer for me to the size I wanted. Ok I had to pay for the original sized piece of timber and a small charge but it got the job done :D
