Hi, I have a room which is not square or rectangular and it has really really left me confused as to where to start laying the laminates from. I am attaching the image of the room. I would really appreciate some ideas. I was planning on starting from the left corner close to Window 1. Good idea or bad? Please let me know.

The wall your depicting would also be my choise however your line of start should be half way under the closed bathroom door, you don't want a long joint at the door as this will inevitably come loose.
If the skirtings are coming off, 7 mm clearance between wall and laminate floor (this can be filled with a spongy foam draft strip) ...pinenot :)
