Where to buy steel 6mm thread radiator bleed valves?

This should be a simple one

Does anyone know where I can buy steel bleed valves that have a 6mm thread?

Can't find any online, only brass.

(They're tiny, and a few have broken where the stem has snapped when trying to bleed the rads. I bought a couple of steel ones that should last and fitted them to the two affected rads. But I haven't any more. The merchants I bought them from shut down last year )

Because a steel version shouldn't snap as easily (or at all!)

As the vent is so small, the 'stem' is tiny, so when you have to apply a little bit of force to undo the valve - they sometimes snap (as they're tiny).

We've already had two snap over the past 18 months (replaced with steel versions).

Just wish they've put in radiators with 1/2 BSP :-/

True - fair point indeed.

Might have to just buy a fair few brass fittings and replace them as-and-when.

If they snap, they snap
