Hope someone can advise...

We are installing a new bathroom and I have bought a bath at Homebase but need some advise on the waste.

The waste options, that Homebase say "fit" this bath, are not what we want. They have a chain option or a standard pop up waste. The kids broke the last pop up waste and I am not convinced on the chain option, so we would like to put a "click clack" waste in.

Homebase say that they don't sell the click clack waste for that bath, so wondered, are "click clack" waste's standard? and can I buy one from another retailer knowing it will fit this bath?

Assistance appreciated.... :?:

Pop up wastes are not indestructible either I fitted one in my rental it lasted two years and the tenants are very good ones, they keep the place spotless!
I have converted back to a plug now!

Having said that I can't see any reason why you can't fix it to a Homebase bath it's just a hole cut in the bath almost any waste should fit.
