Got a towel rail to move and the space under the floor in the new position is very limited for soldering and compression - the easiest (and probably best under the circumstances) way to make the new joints to the tails would be pushfit.

What is the most reliable brand please?

I like the polypipe.
Previously I would have said hep2o but since they changed
the stuff so you need a removal tool. It is damn annoying.

We always use speedfit and have had no probs (keeping fingers crossed)
Others will use Hep2o and there are other makes .... all will have horror stories
as has been said .. if possible use copper

The few times I've used them I've preferred speedfit since you can undo them without having to replace the olives each time.

Copper pipe and Tectite Sprint fittings which are copper but none demountable if you want to take apart Tectite pro fittings.
