Hi All.

I am going to lay some engineered wood flooring soon over some concrete. It's actually some form of tiles but it has concrete underneath. I need to know what type of DPM to lay. I plan to use fibreboard underlay, would a regular 'builders' DPM be ok to use or do I need a special flooring equivalent? Something like this I was considering

This following one is recommended for use with flooring it's just I am worried about all the creases as it's not on a roll.

thanks for any help.

Best to use flooring grade membrane, it's designed for the job and cheap, folds will not be a problem once the flooring is laid on top.

A DPM underlay would be quicker, easier and less expensive. The links didn't work so not sure what you were looking at except B&Q which i'd avoid. Most places that sell wood flooring will sell decent DPM underlay.

Thanks for the tip Mac but I wanted to use fibreboard underlay this time so had to get the DPM as well.

Thanks all.
