Which heat only boiler has the longest warranty?

Please could you let me know which heat only condensing boiler has the longest manufacturers warranty. I assume that this would be the most reliable boiler???

you assume wrong
just because it has a long warranty doesn't mean they will honour it or that the boiler is any good. Most long warranties are full of get out clauses for the manufacturer.
Go for a reliable boiler and the warranty will hopefully be pretty much irrelevant.

Hmmm
OK, let me ask the question another way. I currently have a Baxi floor standing boiler that is about 19 years old. I'm sorry to say that it's not been serviced for the last 9 years (because I was planning to replace it if it stopped working) and the only thing that has gone wrong with it was the pilot light blowing out during a storm.
Is it possible to find a new, more economical boiler that is this reliable... or should I just keep this one?

I take it you live up in sunny Fleetwood with the name Rossall. Seems like only yesterday i was playing hockey on the beach.

Anyways, ive been putting quite a few Baxi Solo boiler in of late and have had no bother whatsoever. The early versions were pretty poor but these problems have been ironed out and a decent Sedbuk Band A boiler is whats left.

In terms of the most reliable, unfortunately ATAG do not do a heat only.

In terms of a mid range reliable boiler with a long warranty then a Broag heat only with 5 year warranty is hard to beat.

Can't comment on modern Baxi's as I don't fit them.

All the extended warrantees that I see require a recorded annual service by a competent engineer.

Some are possibly not all that good.

It reminds me of the 5 year bodywork perforation warrantee that some cars used to have. You had to have it inspected every year by a dealer and had to pay for any remedial work it needed. I think that was British Leyland!

Found out today that the Broag 5 year warranty is not a full warranty.

It is 5 years parts and 2 years labour, perhaps it was just me, but I didn't realise this
