Which Oil boiler?

Can I have ideas about selection of oil fired combis please.
A long standing customer is rebuilding his barn into whats officially an extension but wants a seperate system as one day he expects to seperate this extension into a house in its own right.
The building is currently at dpc level and I need to know fairly quickly before he builds too far afead of me.
I remember seeing a leaflet about a boiler that fits into a wall and is accessed from the outside. What are these and are they any good?
What are the implications for future replacement of this type of boiler with regards to part L as no doubt I will still be there when this gets replaced in 10 - 15 yrs or whatever.

That wallstar looks to be a good toy Thanks I will consider it.
I dont think it's the one I was thinking of though. The one I had in mind was accessible totally from the outside. and was built into the thickness of the wall

it is the wallstar, worcester do one, that goes through wall, not sure if that is a combi though. either way the wallstar wins.

The wet bit of the boiler projects into the building, just make sure you have plenty of service access UNDERNEATH the boiler, as you need it to get at the blending valve when it scales up. This will need seeing to long before you replace the boiler. Part L will not be a problem if you need to replace it. Why replace it? You can replace the burner, or the heat exchanger, or the working bits. Unless they go out of business, in which case you won't be able to get even a condensing one in 15 years, they will be repairable for a life of say 50 years.

Why replace it?

Was using my crystal ball! It's often the case that some parts arent available after 10 - 15 years. It's my destiny that I will be keeping whatever I fit here going for the rest of my or its natural lifespan. Repairable for fifty years is cool but how many boilers are there now that are 50 years old?
I dont do much with oil stuff that's why I need as much info and opinion as possible.
Its in a soft water area so scale is never an issue.
Looks like this wallstar is winning so far
I think boulter and camrey do one any info on that ?

there is a boulter camray wall hung, but its not through the wall.a huge lump just bolted on inside or outside the building, not as clever as wallstar design. im not going to even mention a thermecon wallhung .....i mean what a looker
must ring wallstar sales on monday. my cheque is late.

Heating World do a good wall mount, and there is a combi version (there is no such thing as "good" and "combi"). They use the Sterling burner (same as Wallstar). If you want to keep it going for more or less ever, why not buy a spare heat exchanger when you buy the boiler? Then you will not get caught, except by the world running out of oil.
