Hi,

Im just in the middle of decorating my dining room and hallway, I have put a couple of mist coats on the walls and undercoated the woodwork, im just a little confused at to be what i should do next.

Jobs still to do.

1. Sand the floorboards
2. Varnish the floorboards
3. Emulsion the colour on walls
4. Gloss woodwork
5. Wallpaper chimney breast.

Should i get all the painting done and then sand the floors? I dont want any paint on my newly sanded stained and varnished floorboards.

Advice would be appreciated

Andy

1st sand your floor 2nd put down dust sheets and paint your walls and paper the chimney breast then gloss the wood work if you got any paint on the floor emulsion will easily wipe off with water gloss would clean with turps or just sand it off then finley varnish the floor.
