Which Panel should I use?

Hi Chaps

I have bulit a bike shed at home which I have wired for 2 magnetic contacts, 1 dual-tec, RKP and sounders etc.

I was going to use a Veritas R8 panle as they have been around for years and I am familiar with them but I'd quite like to be able to access the system via an app on my phone as I work away.

Is there any panel that falls broadly within the same price point that has wifi access via an app?

With an R8plus or Excel you could potentially look at the new smart com pro.

But given the costs involved in that you may as well look at a elite panel with smartcom or similar.

Second hand you could get an elite panel like elite 12 live (have one as it happens) and a new smart com using hardwired or wireless connection for maybe a little more than the R8.

But the 12W is old and has limitations in how many devices can be used with it, 4 hardwired and 8 wireless for example and would have to check wireless expander for wireless device compatibility most likely will affect wireless keypads if lower than version 3.
