Hi.I want to buy sds plus rotary hammer corded one,which is going to be used for fixing and chiseling.Any recommendations.I was thing Hitachi as first choice and bosh as second.I have never used hitachi brand before.Both drills are same wattage and both priced same at £120.

Either will be a good choice, although I would choose the Bosch first, as I have experience with Bosch and know that it will do the job.

But Hitachi also have a good rep.

id go for the bosch gbh sds range,my last 1 lasted over 10 years b4 the motor gave up the ghost and when i checked the brushes on it they were just about half worn.

... though come to think of it, I also have a Metabo which is very good indeed. And my favourite cordless screwdriver is a Makita. So maybe I was being a bit dogmatic.
 
i have a makita standard driver and an impact driver - very good.

when a power tool repair outlet tell you that bosch blue drills are indestructible and are the best built drills for the money, you tend to listen.

apparently, the brushes do wear out - after about 12 years of constant professional use. :eek:

they are built to drill holes and this they do extremely well.
