We are doing some tiling in the bathroom and kitchen.

We think we have chosen tiles for the bathroom - they are Beyker Zanzibar tiles. We saw them in Topps for about £40 a metre, but have sourced them online for more like £16 a metre. Any comments on that choice?

As for the bathroom, we don't know. Its a small bath room (about 2m x 3m) and the bath is at the end of the room along the wall, with a window above it. Its only the area around the bath and window that we will tile, so about 4 metre.

We want something easy to look after, that looks good, but don't want to spend more than about £20 a metre.

Any ideas?

Heres the are to be tiled - the window is going in soon and will be central above the bath.

And this is part of the kitchen for the Zanzibar tiles....

maybe in the kitchen but nit in the bathroom they look out dated tiles so to speak.
have you looked at a good ceramic tile and maybe a mosaic boarder?

Or a travertine tile for the kitchen

Yeah, know what you mean about the dated comment but they do suit the kitchen. I wasn't considering the Zanzibar for the bathroom.

Sorry, my fault.

Anyway, ordered some today. Zanzibar for the kitchen and some Grespania Galeca for the bathroom.
