This is a top floor flat. Which is the best underlay for a new chipboard floor?

I am thinking of 3mm acoustic underlay without a vapour barrier.

What do you recommend?

Any particular brand?

I have decided to use 6mm Diall fibreboard. The main reason being that the engineered wood floor has to butt up to a porcelain tiled floor. The tiled floor will be about 18.5mm high, ie 8.5mm tile over 6mm ply with about 4mm adhesive.
The engineered wood is 11mm plus 6mm fibreboard underlay. The difference in height would be 1.5mm. I assume that this is not a problem?

Comments are appreciated.
