Which Vauxhall Vivaro?

I need to upgrade my van and have about £8,000 to spend. I like the look of the Vauxhall Vivaro.

I'm a landscaper so need to carry a cement mixer and a few heavy tools, nothing major. In time, I hope to get myself a trailer to pull 1Tonne of sand/soil.

Due to the potential trailer do I need to go for one of the more powerful models? I need a van that is economical.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

personally i would steer clear of the vivaro/traffic family of vans, do a search in the maintenance forum and it will tell you why!
if you can stretch to a vw tranny they are a great van, they can be exspensive and hard to buy due to their popularity though.

I see what you mean. If I can get hold of a VW transporter I'm looking at an older van with more mileage than a Vivaro for the same money though.

i bought a lwb 2006 model 2 years ago with 140000 miles on the clock, it has been faultless since purchase. It was a steal price wise thats why i bought it.
sometimes buying newer isnt always the answer.
