Whilrpool 4404/5 Trips RCD

Upon applying power to my ADP4404/5 is trips the RCD. At a guess when the pump is activated.

I have disassembled the washer and there is no signs of a leak. However the circuit board in the door has a bank of 4 resistors and diodes that appear to have got very hot.

I would be surprised if the 12V board is tripping the mains, but could this be holding a relay open/shut resulting in something running to ground?
