On a recent run the dishwasher did not fully complete its cycle and there was standing water left in the bottom. Thinking there was a blockage, we emptied most of the water and cleaned it out. Now when attempting a new cycle the machine runs for about 30 seconds, the timer clicks forward once and then stops. I suspected it may be something to do with the timer, therefore I have tried manually moving the dial one further position, this enables the cycle to continue again but only for a short time before stopping again.

Does anyone have any suggestions what may be wrong and how easy it may be to repair?
