My whirlpool awg329 will not work. when i put in a load, the drum will not spin, the machine makes a hum sound when it normally would be a lot louder. it sounds like its trying to 'ignite' something but keeps failing. water did get into the drum and the machine did drain the water out when i put it on the spin cycle but did not spin.
Having read the forums it sounds like either the brushes need replacing or the motor has gone. Would like peoples opinions before i call in a technician and help prevent getting ripped off!
