Whirlpool AWM1200 leak

Evening all,

Had this washing machne for a couple of years but it's recently developed a leak. I have found that it is coming from just underneath the instrument panel on the machine, and after asking around one cause could be that the dispenser drawer is the source of the problem?

So, I gave it all a good scrub but there's still water coming from just underneath the panel where the dials are and trickling down the face of the machine.

Any ideas gratefully received...

The dispenser top is partially blocked internally and it's forcing water to the front holes, this in turn is getting out under the dispenser drawer, running along the inside lip and exiting under the control panel.
Either a new dispenser, turn down the water pressure coming in or you could try sealing the front holes with silicon sealant to see if that cures it.

Hey sleephead - I'm after more of your words of wisdom please! After some more fiddling with the dispenser etc there's def no water coming down the face of the machine. However... There is now water coming from the bottom of the machine (checked by putting some paper towels down) on the left hand side. Any ideas?? Cheers
