Whirlpool Solutions AWM 321 getting stuck on A

Hello.

My machine is getting stuck on A which is rince/spin. If I nudge the dial to B it will continue to spin and drain. Has anyone ever come across this before? Is it as simple as a new dial being required?

Yes, I've had occasional problems with this control.

Simplest "solution" seems to be to squirt a little WD40 or other freeing oil onto the spindle (having pulled off the plastic control knob). Replce the knob and work the oil in by turning the knob through the cycle a couple of times.

This has worked for me, but is obviously not a "specialist's" solution.
