white exclamation mark grey background

Hi there I have been watching some Youtube videos and all of a sudden I now get a grey exclamation mark on a white background. I can watch hundreds of videos then it will suddenly happen. What does this mean?

Any help would be much appreciated.

not using chrome by any chance are you? it usually means your flahs/shockwave has crashed.

No I'm not using Chrome just IE.
