White puppa What are they

I have been doing a lot of digging & I am finding a lot of white caterpilla puppa things, they are about 25mm long 4/5 mm dia.
Done a google cant see them, anyone got any ideas?

Leatherjackets the pupae of the crane fly.(daddy long legs).

if they are fat and white they are probably chafer grubs rather than leatherjackets.

Be careful they bite....

they are bright white with a yellow bit and fat
