You can't decide something is unfair until you prove the "unfair" thing is occurring.
 
The amount of it, yes. Do you think spending on defence should be far below what it should be, as agreed by most people, in order for welfare payments to be high?

It's pointless saying something is unfair, like it's unfair that some get cancer and die, while others don't.
You need to have an idea of what to do to make it fair. :rolleyes:
 
So, £3 a week more plus loss of potential benefits in return for paying NI for a minimum of 35 years. Still doesn’t seem a good deal to me.
What do you propose?
Or are you just content in griping about it?
 
You're much better off if you don't bother with a pension and just get the most expensive house you can possibly afford. Then you can sell it and cash in the profit, completely tax-free, if you need to, and get the additional full state pension.
