John Harris in the Grauniad today talks about the announcement last week that England and Wales’s total fertility rate – the average number of children a woman is expected to have in her lifetime – had fallen to just under 1.4, marking the fourth consecutive year of decline and the lowest figure in nearly 50 years.
Thanks chiefly to the rising popularity of Reform UK, British people will soon be hearing much more about birthrates. “We’re trying to cut immigration drastically,” a party spokesperson said last summer. “At the same time, to fix that population crisis, we’re trying to encourage British people already here to have kids.” This explains the Reform leader Nigel Farage’s plan to bring in new tax breaks for married couples, and his obnoxious suggestion that only “British-born” families should have the two-child benefit limit lifted.
Gumbynews is promoting even more extreme proposals to 'solve' the 'crisis' by sending back anyone who immigrated to the UK for the last 100 years, and sending in US-style ICE officers - armed to the teeth - with special powers to evict anybody who doesn't fit in with the extremists notion of Britishness.

Immigration of the people that we need to fill in our void in the skills gap then this is correct. It doesn't mean the current position of illegal immigration. That picture paints a thousand incorrect words.

The population crisis is that there is TOO MANY people in the country and on the planet.
I'm not sure the idea of sending illegal migrants in to outer space will have much support but you could always put it to the Gumbies: they're desperate for any solution right now...so long as they get to implement it.
That's a complete mangling of cause and effect.
British young adults don't have kids mostly because they don't have a home. Many are living at home with their parents in their 40s. Life is about survival, not living. Throwing millions more people into the housing market massively worsens this desperate situation.
Plus the country is becoming the sort of third world hell-hole that sane people don't want to subject their potential kids to.
Uncontrolled, unskilled immigration is causing a decline in the birth rate.

It looks like a union or lefty group-organised propaganda rally by the Labour party to me, as most of these hard-left "protests" are.

Lefties such as Attenborough told us that there are too many people and the planet is being destroyed because of them. This informed Government policy for decades, and because culture follows law, a lower birth rate was achieved. Then muslims, who do not follow any laws and have as many children as they like, were brought in, and they are excluded from any calculations owing to the threat of violence. And if taxpayers complain, they are called racist as they die off.
Reducing the number of people in the U.K. will in turn reduce the pressures and costs of housing. It’s a win win situation.
Just need to get people leaving school to train for the jobs and occupations we need rather than relying on importing skills and leaving our youngsters on the shelf

Deport pensioners and sieze their houses.
You can start by deporting your elderly relatives then - lead by example.
