Who doesn't like a coup?

What about war criminal Blair and his bunch of parasites, bankrupted us and lead us into ilegal war, great !

Cherry picked bolax

Tories left:
Unfunded NI tax cut
Destroyed economy due to brexit
Increased bank rate due to the Lettuce loser
8 million NHS waiting list
Prisons in state of collapse
Over 400 asylum hotels under their watch
Pathetic asylum seeker processing
2024 wages hardly grown since 2010
Rolling strikes NHS, Trains
Public services not given pay rises
4.8m people suffering food poverty
Energy bills up 80%
Debt to gdp 100%

I could go on and on

My personal favourite statistic, is that in any single year of Thatcher's time in office, no fewer than 17,000 council houses were built.
Roughly 7000 council houses were built during the entire New Labour period.

what do you think you are proving?

Thatcher forced the sales of 1.5 million council houses

over her 11 year tenure 187,000 council houses were built

so you think the net loss of 1.313 million council houses is a win

Thatcher saw net loss of 1.3 million council houses

Fillys favourite statistic is a totally false representation of the facts..................no wonder he likes it :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Conservatives bankrupted us in 2020 -they brought he economy to a complete standstill..............oh wait dont tell me you are about to say "but that was a global crisis" :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

poor deluded Algas has a short memory, Gordon saved the USA and European economies from complete collapse with his decisive actions

Iraq war.....poor Algas is so silly he doesnt realise the Tories wouldve done the exact same thing, the UK is a puppet to USA

poor Algas so on the Blue team so he cant see any facts

Boris Johnsons govt led to 1million+ net migration -I wonder who Algas voted for in 2019

What was inflation when the tories left?
What was growth when the tories left?
What was the unemployment rate when the tories left?
What were the illegal boat numbers when the tories left?
What was the deficit when the tories left?
What were taxes when the tories left?
What were the accidental prisoner releases?

I could go on.
even Motorbikings Tory propaganda newspaper knows the truth

The Tories are leaving Labour an impossible task

High taxes and high debt are the legacy of the Conservative Party’s 14 years of rule

Tory supporters love to moan about the state of our prisons and courts.

Tory supporters dont like to admit Tory huge cuts to criminal justice system

The Conservative government's austerity measures resulted in a significant real-terms cut to the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) overall budget of around 25% between 2010/11 and 2019/20. The day-to-day (resource) budget fell by one-third (33%) in real terms between 2007/08 (peak spending) and 2016/17

Theresa May cut the number of people working in the police force by 43,000

Conservatives party of "law and order" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

The thing is, I read threads like this and I genuinely think what is the answer? Not just in terms of who the current Labour PM is, but in terms of who the governing party is. I said in another thread it's a cyclical sh1t show to varying degrees. Yes some parties do better than others when in government, but to what significant extent?

As I type this, the Lib Dem leader is giving a speech about the budget. With a serious face, she tells us if they were doing the budget in two weeks time, they would implement a £12 billion emergency package to drive down energy bills and would put in trading measures to 'save our beloved high streets.'

She's answering a question from a reporter with this 'we need to show that Britain plc is open for business.'

Eh? What?!? Blah blah blah. The usual empty rhetorical guff we hear from all parties ... when they don't actually have to govern.

I'm not sure what the answer is to see real, sustained positive change in this country. However one thing I do know, our current political system isn't delivering it and I doubt it ever can.

There are 2 things to unpack here:

1) we do have a poor political system that needs changing -that could help somewhat

2) democracy never works very well....to win power you have to make false promises otherwise nobody voted for you, then when you win power you have to lie to try and justify why your promises arent coming true.

For example: houses are just too expensive for people, so they need lowering in price somewhat......but nobody is going to vote for their house value being cut.

I dont know WTF we do about 2)

Wait, I have the answer!

Lib Dems tell us they have ways to save billions.
Tories tell us they have ways to save billions.
Reform tell us they have ways to save tens of billions.

In the country's interest, let's get Labour out today and the above three in. Sorted. After all, based on what they're saying, it's easy peasy to save billions upon billions, so collectively they should be able to work near miracles!!!
