the outcome of the next election will be decided by how the economy is doing then

the problem with politics is that parliaments are 5 years terms, whilst turning around an economy takes probably 10 years.

Im not saying Labour are doing this, but lets say they are putting good policies in place to improve the economy -those would not happen until well into the next term

Reform are currently polling at around the same level of support as Labour got at the last election. Which, as a result of FPTP, translated into a landslide majority.

FPTP means that you only need 30% and a good number of other parties to split the remaining votes and it's all yours.

Plus right-wing parties always get more votes than polls predict, as voters are shy of telling people they'll vote for them.

Farage will be the next PM, unless some of Kier's rent-a-mob manage to do something to him before then of course. Possibly in coalition, more likely with a majority.
