Why Don't Youtube Links Work Any More?

There was a time when you could click on the 'Youtube' box when posting or replying to a thread, put the link in, then click on 'Youtube' once more.

Then you would get a proper link with picture to the Youtube video in the post. Doesn't work any more. All you get is -

I'm using the link at the top left of my browser. Always worked before.

Is that the same link that you're using?

The clip was the troggs. I can't get it either now.

Working now. It was the 's' on http.

Thanks to all, especially LMB who has cracked it. As he says, if you take the 's' out of the https, it works.

Odd that it's changed. Used to put the whole link in and click on 'Youtube' twice and it would display properly. For the last few months though, couldn't get it to work.
