Let us look at this situation realistically, the U.S are pulling out of this war, that leaves us in a very difficult position. The Ukranian position is different to ours, we are not in Ukraine and we know that Putin is going to win this war. How many more lives must be lost before the inevitable happens. I agree it is most disturbing considering our special relationship that we once held, Trump was always going to destroy this and is no surprise at his stance. However if we step up our military spending rather than cutting it as we have been doing then this is a good thing. We have 100% relied upon the U.S as far as NATO goes
