It is easy enough to make a manometer, all it comprises of is a piece of clear tube bent into an upright U shape with liquid in such as water.
One side connected to the high pressure side and the other connected to the low. The difference in the head is your measurement given in mmH2O, 10mm being approx 1mBar.
For more accurate results an inclined manometer can be used.
