On the back of the receipt it mentions exchange or refund within 6 months of purchase. Does anyone know the terms of this?

I have a boxed and unused compound mitre saw I want to return that I bought 3 months ago. Does this fall within their policy? The website doesn't seem to mention anything about 6 months.

Because I'm not sure whether me wanting to return it because I don't want it comes under their 'should you need to return it' policy.

Well, I'd either give their customer services a call or take the item back to the store. Personally, I've never had an issue taking stuff back - at worse I've been given a credit note to be spent in store, which I used to buy a friend something he wanted which he gave me the cash for.
