Wide blade screwdrivers

When you say wide you don't mean kerf do you? 4-10mm wide sounds pretty standard to me.

Yes I mean the kerf.

It'll be a specialist tool. Screwdrivers are produced to a standard of sizes and the kerf will follow the width by standard definition.

What's it for? I don't think I've ever seen a screwdriver blade or even a 1/2" drive blade with a kerf like 10mm.

I have some in extraordinary large sizes which fit a socket handle.

From memory the thickest is about 3mm though. And over an inch wide.

For taking apart large machines.

You're probably thinking of a drag link socket.
