Hi,

I've got a 10mm drill chuck

70mm holesaw

and this

Hex Shank Holesaw Arbor 9.5mm

Use 9.5mm hex shank for 14-21mm holesaws and 11mm quick hitch for 32-152mm holesaws.[/b]

If the arbor fits in the chuck, and the arbor connects to the hole saw, then sure......usually the bigger hole saw arbors need a 13mm chuck though.
John :)

11mm into 10mm, is that a trick question?
Has this not already been discussed?
Doesn't matter how many times you ask the question, the answer will remain the same.
Bigger chuck required!

It may seem annoying to you but the purpose is to stop you busting your drill as its not rated for that purpose, idiot proof you might say.

You can forget 70mm holes with a drill with a 10mm chuck. I dought that it would have the power to even start the cut. I almost stalled a 24 volt heavy duty Hitachi drill with 63mm hole saw in wood. I would think for your work you would need a proper core drill setup.
