Hi
Our house has newish windows but have been fitted poorly. One window is approx 2m wide and has three fixings in the top of the frame, neither of which have gripped into the brickwork. Therefore the window frame bows out from the house at the top if you were to push it. The side and bottom fixings seem secure.

Question is , which fittings/screws should i use to secure the top of the frame, and any tips on where to or not to screw them?

Thanks

Generally fixings in the head are not good as they can cause water to get into the frame. Normally expanding foam and good sealant lines are enough to hold the head firmly.

Can you post a pic of the window inside and out?

I cant get a decent external picture but as inside i can feel there is no sealant.

So, what should i do? Silicon the header inside and out?

(sorry image is upside down)
