how am i going to hold the tiles in position when i tile on the underside of the window reveal

I have just tiled similar area the tiles will stay put, (I used ready mixed adhesive) years ago though they wouldnt you would have held in place with wood.

use a decent tile adhesive. do a few at a time and once they are in postion put a batten under them and then prop it to hold it till it has set
