Painting up to the silicone bead in our window reveal looks pretty bad. Obviously the paint won't stick to it so wondered how people make a good job of painting in a window reveal?

The silicone comes out between 0.5 and 1.5cm around the rather large window into the plastered reveal.

Not meant to be silicone inside.

Use Acryrub SWS, this is acrylic polymer, airtight, permanently elastic, paintable.

Did you pay someone to slap that silicon on? That's grim, at least if it was a well formed bead and a straight line it wouldn't look so rubbish

You can paint it with Zinsser 123, then you can go over that with what ever paint you like.
