Hi all, after replacing my window sashes, I'm going to tart up the sills before the onset of winter. A couple of the sills have developed cracks of which I'd like to fill before painting.

I'm thinking cement will do it, but other ideas include those tubs of epoxy repair mortar.

Anyone done this type of repair before?

Cheers

Polysufide sealant applied into a cleaned out crack is probably the go-to caulk.

Whatever brand you use you can call the Mfr for the recommended primer - thats if you are up for the extra time and expense.

Your w/frame might need a renewed sealing also.
