windows sizes for timber frames.....

I'm looking at some wooden windows frames to fit into a timber frame structure....

The sizes say "Dimensions shown are brickwork opening sizes", what, if any adjustment should be made for a timber frame structure?
 
Well that's what i thought :?

just wondered why they would specify for brick - or even mention it at all?!

but cheers, my next question would have been how much to allow - well pre-empted :)
