Hello again, as i said i am new and i want a reliable wireless system. I am looking for a system that could prevent / delay a common thief (the one that could rob you everyday not someone sophisticated with high tech equipment - the last one i believe that can break in a house very easy whatever we do, with the kind/budget of equipment we buy).

Requirements:

1. At least 12 zones wireless

2. Good RF signal for an almost square house with concrete walls (inside width of walls 10 cm - outside width 30 cm).The signal must travel not in line of sight but always between walls, closets at least 40 cm width).

3. 2 way comm between devices

4. The ability of the system to make a call (tone or voice doesn’t really matter) from landline to another landline / mobile phone in case someone (common thief) breaks in and i am not at home.(he/she didn’t cut off the landline).
I will use a second mobile phone that i have for that case. I don’t want the system ( or the monitoring station) to call me at the time i am being robbed to ask me if everything is ok when i am inside my house. I prefer to be warned from an outside detector before this happens (even i am still in my house and yes maybe less than a minute early warning)

5. Battery for at least 8 hours buck up operation ( in case main power is lost due other than burglar reasons)

6. Two (2) outside/perimeter detectors wireless with anti masking capability (for 2 balconies - 12x2m and 6x2m).

7. The capability to be updated if needed from me (somehow!!) i am not really sure of this.

8. A keypad/control should be ok.

9. I also don’t want the system to affect my life and the life of my family.(e.g ..i want to open the windows in the summer with the outer aluminum frame of course closed)

So far i’ve checked the web for this kind of system and till now the products that i have found are these

a. PowerMaster Complete with TOWER 20AM MCW

b. Paradox MG6250 with NVR780

http://www.paradox.ca/Products/default.asp?CATID=4&SUBCATID=45&PRD=496

c. PowerMaster 10 G2 with the new TOWER 20 AM PG2
http://www.visonic.com/Products/PowerG-Wireless-Property-Protection/pg-control-panels/powermaster10
http://www.visonic.com/Products/PowerG-Wireless-Property-Protection/tower-20am-pg2

Do you know any other system/combination ? Are these systems up to my requirements ?
Any pros or cons ?
Maybe i am wrong but feel free to advice me.

Thanks in advance.

With concrete walls that thick and aluminium window frames you will be struggling. May be better with a texecom ricochet system as this passes signals from sensor to sensor to ensure the signals get back to the panels.

Thank you very much. I forgot ta say that the 30 cm walls are actually 13 cm concrete/brick 12cm the 2 frames of the glass/door and the aluminum/door and 13 cm the outer wall. The inside wall are 12 cm.
I don't know if this helps. The maximum distance of a detector being installed from the control panel is less than 10m (max for outdoor).
But i don't want to drill.
I've looked the texecom system but i am bit confused with all this addons and expanders plus the price it seems that goes much more expensive. I will try to look again and maybe i'll figure it out.
The money i want to give for a kit with sirene and 2 outdoor detectors must be less than 500 pounds.
Again, thank you very much.
