Bought a Hewlett Packard WiFi mouse for a Lenovo Win 7 laptop. Comes with a wee disc, but nothing to plug into the computer.
Worked fine for a month or two.

Stopped working.
Tried uninstalling, reinstalling etc, new batteries.
Computer can't "see" the mouse, having switched on and pressed button on mouse so it's flashing its light.

Tried a Samsung laptop. All fine. So not the mouse at fault.

Is there anything in the Lenovo where I could have turned off WiFi but still have the wireless net in the house working (which it is)?

I thought it might be a bluetooth thing, but it says WiFi on the back of the mouse.

Any ideas?
