The above boiler has been commissioned but supplied analogue Honeywell thermostat has not yet been fitted (though a 2-wire connection for it has been). I wanted to improve on this with a programmable thermostat to give more control, which I need to purchase for the electrician to fit on his visit next week for other matters. The installation manual for the boiler states "The boiler connections for external controls are 12v DC and so only controls of 12v DC that have voltage free contacts should be used". I was looking at a Siemens REV24RF programmer, but that appears to have a 24V AC connection for the output (http://www.beril.lv/REV24RF_EN.pdf). Honeywell models also seem to be 24V. Am I looking at the wrong thing? If not, what (decent) programmers would work with the boiler?
Thanks.
