wireless signal enhancer?

Hi,

I have a computer and router in a distant room from my new Panasonic LCD Smart TV. It seems I should be able to wirelessly receive things like BBC IPlayer from my router but there are too many walls inbetween the two machines.

Is there a gizmo that will strengthen the wireless signal from my router enough to reach the tv?

You can buy wireless repeaters. These act like a stepping stone between the router and the PC. Netgear do a good one.

Yes, I use a gizmo called a "Bear Extender".
