Wiring a Fan

I have a new Vent Axia bathroom fan type VA100XT to replace the old (same model number) but the new version has live, neutral & LS terminals. The cable coming from the pull cord switch is standard live, neutral and earth. Does anyone know how to do the connection?

Sounds like you have a different model number as the existing sounds like it’s just on and off. Can you provide a photo of the existing wiring?

Would that not just provide an extra permanent live as opposed to live switch or is LS live supply?

The OP's wiring does not have a permanent live.

Both L and LS must have power when switched on otherwise the fan won't run at all.

Yep, just got that from your post, thank you. Pull cord makes the switch.
