Wiring a Pull Cord in the Bathroom

The pull cord in our bathroom broke so I have bought a new unit which did not come with any instructions.

The wire colours are standard green \ yellow ( neutral ) , red ( live ) and black ( neutral ) coming out of the ceiling.

On the actual unit I want to fit, the three areas to fit the wires say E which I presume is for the Earth wire and the other two wire places say 1 Way and Common. My question is which is the live and which is the Neutral.

Any help would be appreciated.

Its all wrong.
You have earth (not neutral as you first called it)
Live
Switched live

Makes no difference live or switched live goes into switch.
